Bifaka
The Bifaka or Mbounga is a daily migratory fish that can dive to depths of several hundred metres in search of plankton. The Bifaka or Mbounga is a predator. Young Bifaka or Mbounga feed on copepods and crustaceans. Adults feed on fish (gobies, flatfish, etc.) and various invertebrates. The Bifaka or Mbounga has a slender body whose back colour ranges from greenish brown to dark blue, while its belly has a silvery tinge. The lower jaw of the Bifaka or Mbounga is slightly protruding.
The product originates from Cameroon.
